Our packaging equipment manufactures are constantly looking for ways to produce packaging equipment that runs more efficiently and use less energy to operate. Many of the new packaging machines are being built to accommodate the wide range of new biodegradable packaging materials. Our packaging materials suppliers are producing more eco friendly and bio degradable products and inventing entire packaging solutions in conjunction with our equipment manufactures that use less packaging material, less glue and less energy to produce greatly reducing your products carbon foot print.

Thinking on the Outside of the Box
“Sustainability”—a new name for an old concept. Namely, the way in which a product, materials, packaging and palletization methods impact space utilization, storage, transportation and distribution costs through the lifecycle supply chain. Call it what you want, it’s always been a factor in manufacturing, as misused space and materials always create unnecessary costs. By replacing large volumes of preprinted boxes and outdated date-and-time coding equipment with low-cost, high-resolution direct-to-case coding equipment, packaging companies slash expenses and help the environment.

- The companies of ITW work togeather to develop BrandPak™
BrandPak™ is an attractive multipack with desirable environmental characteristics for glass, plastic and metal beverage containers. Not only is it minimal in terms of material content, generating less waste at disposal, its primary Hi-Cone® ring carrier is degradable and recyclable. Combining the structural integrity of the Top-Lift ring carrier with quality printed sleeve, also minimal and recyclable, results in a very desirable environmentally friendly package. Furthermore BrandPak™ stretch sleeves do not require glue or a heat tunnel, complementing its already impressive ecological footprint. BrandPak™ uses less plastics than alternatives multipack systems, it needs no glue, the consumables are manufactured of easy-to-recycle polyethylene, and, it requires by far, the lowest amount of energy for operation - no heat tunnels are necessary anywhere in the process.
The BrandPak™ "carbon footprint" - from the consumables manufacturing to the application at your plant - is the lowest compared to any other system that offers similar sizes and speeds capabilities, and attractive billboard graphics. All these true sustainable qualities, at a very competitive pricing point, are available only with the BrandPak™ System!
